Plan those Memorial Day Celebrations
Memorial Day, observed on the last Monday of every May, commemorates all men and women who have died while in service of the United States military. If you’re looking for a traditional way to honor the sacrifices of our service men and women, then various cities offer remembrance ceremonies every year. National Cemeteries will be awash with American flags adorning the plots of veterans, and a national moment of remembrance takes place at 3:00 p.m. local time.
Memorial Day is also generally considered to be the official start of summer. And the 3-day weekend affords the time for family gatherings, trips to the beach, picnics and BBQ’s. So after remembering and honoring our fallen service men and women, take full advantage of what the Inland Empire has to offer May 27th-May 29th. Or if you’re up to it, head west for even more options.
